Monday to Friday, closed every weekend, in a clean eight bay shop with the same owner it has had since 2008. If you fix cars for a living you already know how rare that first part is.
We are an eight bay shop at C470 and Bowles, working on nearly everything foreign and domestic, from hybrids and EVs through to fleet vehicles. There is a steady flow of work and current diagnostic equipment to do it with.
The shop is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. No weekend rota and no on-call. That is deliberate and it is not changing.
The shop is locally owned by TJ Cobbett, who has been here since Dakota Ridge opened in 2008. His family lives in Littleton. Decisions get made in the building by somebody you can walk up to.
Our technicians are ASE Master and Advanced Master Certified, and we back the work with a 48 month, 50,000 mile warranty. That matters to whoever is holding the wrench: a shop betting four years on a repair is a shop that gives you the time to do it properly the first time.
The building runs on more than 100 solar panels with a full recycling programme, and we are involved in the neighbourhood we work in.
We are not always hiring for every role, but we would rather meet somebody good early than fill a gap in a hurry later.
Between Autotech Training and the apprentice programme, a technician who starts here without full certification has a route to it that the shop pays for. That is the honest reason to take a first job at an independent instead of a chain.
We only ask for the detail a hiring decision needs, and we ask for it at the point it is needed rather than all at once on a form up front.
Email it to [email protected] with the position in the subject line, or drop a copy in at the counter. List your certifications, where you have worked and what you like working on.
303-795-2600, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. Five minutes on the phone tells both of us more than a page of paperwork.
You see the shop, meet whoever you would be working beside, and ask us the things you actually want to know. We would rather you decide with your eyes open.

Dakota Ridge Auto was incredibly efficient and friendly. I brought my car in for an oil change and the staff explained everything clearly while getting the job done quickly. I left feeling confident about the service and will definitely return for any future car maintenance.
