Yes. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your factory warranty simply because an independent shop did the maintenance. What matters is that the work is done to specification, with the right parts and fluids, and documented. We keep records and report service to Carfax, so the history follows the car.
The pattern we see most is timing belt on the j-series v6 — mDX, TL and RL run an interference engine, so a belt that lets go takes valves with it. It is a real interval rather than a suggestion, and doing the water pump at the same time is the difference between one labour bill and two. Every make has its own list, and knowing yours in advance is the difference between maintenance and a breakdown.
We use OE or equivalent-quality parts appropriate to the job and to how long you plan to keep the car. Where an aftermarket part is genuinely as good we will say so and save you money; where the OE part is the only one worth fitting we will say that too.
